Do you have a daughter with learning differences, social challenges, or attention deficits? You’re going to want to hear about Bais Yaakov Bay Parkway.

For some girls with learning differences or other challenges, mainstreaming is ideal. But for other girls, mainstreaming just doesn’t work. As a parent, you can tell pretty easily when mainstreaming isn’t the right choice. For the child that dreads school, comes home depleted, doesn’t have friends and just isn’t thriving, there’s another solution. Bais Yaakov Bay Parkway is here for these girls, to lift them up and turn them into confident, happy students who look forward to school each day.

Does this sound impossible? Can you not even imagine your daughter feeling that way? Here’s how Bais Yaakov Bay Parkway does it. They’re a Bais Yaakov in every sense of the word: a warm setting with all the extracurriculars you’d expect from a Bais Yaakov. They have small classes of 6-8 girls per class, differentiated instruction, and a 1:1 teacher:student ratio for core subjects. They take a multi-sensory approach to really help the girls learn. On-site therapy (all the therapies!) lends to a holistic atmosphere where academic and therapeutic goals are being targeted and reinforced throughout the day.

Serving girls ages 5-13, Bais Yaakov of Bay Parkway’s mission is concrete, and somehow both idealistic and attainable: to create happy, confident girls who are set up to succeed.

Let’s hear from some parents who experienced the BYBP magic for themselves!

One parent says, ‘Before, my daughter just survived school as the “difficult” child. She was picking up knowledge, but she struggled developmentally and there was no visible progress. I was confident she could learn, but her school wasn’t getting her there. In just one year at BYBP, she went from not being able to say the ABCs to reading short words. Today, she’s a valuable part of the classroom. Her teachers see her middos and potential. She doesn’t feel different or like she’s in “the special ed class” because it’s all one school. BYBP is helping her progress more than I’d even imagined, and I’m thrilled.’

Another parent says, ‘We sent our daughter to BYBP hoping she’d build social skills and connect with other girls in her class. We didn’t realize how much she’d grow academically too! At BYBP, everything is customized to her level — but it still feels like regular school: they have assemblies, GO, performances, a uniform. She feels like all the other Bais Yaakov girls on our block. On top of that, we can see the teachers doing their utmost for our daughter. We are amazed at how much she’s grown, and we feel fortunate to have found this school.’
