We’ve folded pants into shirts before. But this pajama folding hack is the neatest and easiest one we’ve tried yet.
Sometimes we wish we could share a new hack with you weekly. However, we really take our responsibility seriously and we post only the hacks that we use, love, and vouch for. And so we only post a tip/hack/DIY when we have one we think is worthwhile incorporating into your daily life.
Some of the hacks we’ve use ourselves are fashion hacks, like “What to Do with a Belt Flap That’s Too Long?” or “How To Keep The Uniform Pleats Looking Crisp And New.”
Others hacks are related to Jewish life, like “Display the Hebrew Date on Your iPhone Calendar and Home Screen” or “Solution for your Hats on your Dining Room Table.”
And of course we have food hacks. Like our favorite Tomato Paste Hack or “Why Didn’t I Ever Think Of Using This In My Ice Drawer?”
Back in July a reader reached out with a hack showing a clever way to fold pajamas. Now many of you share hacks, and while we love many of them, we don’t always naturally incorporate them into our lives.
However, when she shared this hack, we tried it out immediately. And then we kept doing it. It’s so simple, we’re not sure why we never folded pajamas this way before!
See these two stacks of PJs? One is folded traditionally (pants and shirts separate). And one is folded using the hack below.

Now you will tell us, “BCP, what’s the big deal? I already put the pj pants into the shirt.”
Yes, some of us also did, but this version is the neatest version we’ve tried!

Start by laying out the top and bottom on a flat surface.

Fold the pants in half.

Place the pants in the middle of the shirt.

Fold up the bottom of the pants to match up to the shirt.

Continue folding the top as usual.

All done!

See how it’s one piece?
