These machines are best used for daily maintenance, with standard mopping once in a while for a deeper clean. It’s very important to empty the dirty water, run the self clean and let the parts dry after each use (or daily if used multiple times a day) to avoid unpleasant smells. Some people found this tedious, but most people say it’s worth it.
