Need summer entertaining ideas? Like to plan your parties affordably, all on your own? No party planner helped in the planning of this event. And once I shared the details and sources, you’ll see how easy it is to do it yourself too!
Yes, beautiful parties can be practical too. Practical as in disposable dinnerware, affordable table linens, and dessert tables you can manage to set up yourself with a friend. What’s going to be your party vision this summer?
Plates aren’t just for holding the food. Those vintage-style plates on the tables are…yup, paper. You can get them here. I used them as accent plates paired with these pink plastic disposable dinner plates.
Equally charming are the scalloped napkins alongside them (paired with rose gold disposable flatware).
The tablecloths were a basic solid pink, but it was this burlap lace runner that lended that vintage feel.
Each guest used a floral straw to enjoy her pink lemonade served in glass milk bottles. The stickers were made by a vendor on Etsy, however here is a similar one that you can customize from zazzle.
The green moss teacups housed the centerpiece florals. Thanks to Willow and Rose Florals for filling them up! She’s so talented and really understood my vision, arriving with extra florals for my daughter’s hair.
The matching purse planters were on the dessert table.
And tea kettle favor boxes completed each tablesetting.
Now let’s move onto the dessert table.
The centerpiece cake, made by Queen of Tart, sat on this marble and wood cake plate.
And isn’t this the perfect cupcake stand to go with the ambiance?
The rest of the little touches on the dessert table I borrowed from my neighbor, Set it Up NJ.
