These are the School Supplies That Teens Love

They’re functional and they’re easy and fun to use. These school supply picks are simply better.

Notebooks:

Kokuyo Campus

These thin and  sleek Japanese notebooks are really easy to use and they’re the perfect size pages. Unlike with a spiral notebook, the pages never rip out. The notebooks are also very thin so you can easily fit them in your backpack (6 notebooks have the same thickness as 2 spirals!). With 60 pages, each notebook still contains enough pages for each subject.

Kokuyo Campus “Math”

This is a graph paper notebook that’s just as sleek as the original Kokuyo notebook.

Spiral

This is the classic notebook, which many prefer because they lie flat.

Moleskins

These are bound similar to a Kokuyo so the pages don’t tear. They’re available in more neutral colors that some may prefer.

Pencils:

Pentel Twist Erase Click Adjustable Lead Pencils

Compared to 0.5 mm lead pencils, these 0.7 mm lead pencils break less often while writing and have a steady grip.

Bic Xtra Precision Lead Pencils

If you prefer thinner letters when writing, these 0.5 lead pencils are the popular choice.

Pens:

Bic Xtra Life Ballpoint Pen

This is the classic pen that is the best and easiest to use. And there’s enough in the box to last the whole year!

Erasers:

Sakura Color Arch Eraser

These foam erasers are the easiest to use.

Pentel Hi-Polymer Block Erasers

These erasers by Pentel also work great

Paper Mate Pink Pearl Eraser

Or, go with the classic…

White Out:

Tombow Correction Tape

This white out tape is great because you don’t need to wait for it to dry. It’s easy to use and really functional.

Highlighters:

Zebra Mildliners

These come in the prettiest colors, and they have two tips for thin and thick highlighting. They won’t bleeding through pages.

Stabilo Boss Highlights

These come in fun pastel colors and they’re also fun to use.

Uni Propus Window Highlighters

These are great! They have a window so you can see exactly what you’re highlighting, and it’s actually really helpful.

Looseleaf:

Staples Better 3-Ring View Binder

Though these are pricey, they are the strongest looseleafs that will stay strong throughout the year.

Storage Looseleafs (not for everyday use):

Amazon Basics 3-Ring Binders

I bought these looseleafs to store my important papers after each term. I have 4, one for each year of high school, so that my papers are neat and organized for my younger sisters.

Dividers:

Avery Insertable Dividers

They might not be “cool,” but these plastic dividers simply work the best. The pocket comes in very handy for storing test paper.

Loose Leaf Paper:

Kokuyo Campus Paper

These have lots of holes so they’ll fit any type of looseleaf.

Muji

These are similar to the Kokuyo, but the lines are plain and not dotted.

5 star Punched Reinforced Paper

This is classic looseleaf paper, but with enhanced reinforced holes so they never rip. This is our favorite paper.

Hole Puncher:

Bostitch Office HP12

This is great for home use to punch and store those thick booklets.

Extras:

Standard Post-It Notes

Everyone needs ‘em

Lined Post-It Notes

Great for list-making!

Loose Leaf Pockets:

Envelope Binders

These are perfect for those extra papers that you have nowhere else to store! They fit in your looseleaf for easy access.

Cardinal Poly-Zippered Binder Folders

These are another great option for loose leaf storage.

Pencil Case:

Gotian Creative Students Pencil Case

These come in pretty colors and they’re very well priced.

Clear Pencil Case

This clear case is on trend.
