When we first read the original ‘Let My Nation Go,’ many years ago, it was enthralling…all the details of the Yetzias Mitzrayim, all the midrashim and all the details that Chazal share, in one easy to read narrative. We felt like it made it easy to get the best grasp of the reality of the time, vivid and clear in one’s head.

We might all know the stories of Noach and Avraham in our sleep, but in these books, we become familiar with them on an entirely different level. It’s like we are there, experiencing the mabul, watching Avraham jump into the fire of Ur Kasdim, and listening as Hashem promises Eretz Yisrael to Avraham’s children through Yitzchak.
It’s like we’re watching the foundations of our nation and inheritance of Eretz Yisrael come about. And that’s so appropriate for round now.
Anyone who has read any book in the series knows…from the first ‘Let My Nation Go,’ to ‘Let My Nation Wander’ and ‘Let My Nation Ascend,’ which cover the years in the midbar.
