They can have so much fun with simple dot stickers!
We are entering the fall and winter months, and for me, Sundays are always so hard. My son is home and there isn’t much to do to fill his day. If you feel this way also, read on!
One favorite item that offers a lot of indoor entertainment is: dot stickers!
If you don’t own a package of dot stickers, I highly recommend them. There are so many projects and activities that can be done with them. They can be found in local craft stores or right here. You definitely get lots of entertainment value for the dollar.
This is a great activity for ages 2+, though younger children will need more guidance. Prep this activity and bring it on long car rides or plane trips–there’s so many endless possibilities.

For this activity you need colorful markers, dot stickers, and paper. You can stick to one size of dot stickers, such as the ¾ inch size (best for younger children), or incorporate a second size, like these which are ¼ inch (good for children that are a little older and want to make more detailed drawings). Note that it’s best to get the type of stickers that have a bunch of colors on each sheet, so your little one doesn’t need to be searching multiple sheets for the right color.

It might be easier for your child if you remove the white backing ahead of time.

Now, let’s get drawing. First, the basics. Start with a rainbow! Draw circles in the rainbow in the coordinated colors.

Show your child to match the red dot stickers to the red circles on the rainbow and so on.
We loved doing an ice cream image too as well! You can also make an image with just plain circles.
